a. Personal Information
We collect personal information through Single Sign-On (SSO) when you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, which may include your name, email address, and profile information. You may also sign in with Apple to limit personal data sharing, respecting your choice to control the information provided.

b. Usage Data
We collect data on how you use the App, including workout logs (reps, weights, workout plans), device information (such as Apple Watch data), and log data (IP address, browser type, operating system, app usage).

c. Sensor Data from Watch App
We may collect data from your watch sensors, such as gyroscope, accelerometer, and orientation, along with information on the workout you perform. This data is used specifically to improve the functionality of our "Rep Assistant" feature, enhancing your workout analysis.

d. Health Data
All health-related data, such as heart rate or calories burned, is stored locally on your device through Apple’s HealthKit. You must grant explicit permission for the App to access HealthKit to save and manage workout-related data. You can manage permissions via Apple’s Health app settings at any time. GymBud Pro does not save or store health data on external servers, and none of this information is shared with us.

e. Analytics Data (Including Google Signals)
We use Firebase Analytics and Google Signals to collect anonymized data, which provides insights into app functionality and user experience. Google Signals collects cross-device data from users signed into their Google accounts with Ads Personalization enabled, potentially including demographics, device usage, and location data. This data allows us to understand user behavior across devices, enhancing personalization and advertising effectiveness. You have the option to opt-out of Firebase Analytics during onboarding, and can disable Ads Personalization via Google account settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and improve the App’s functionality

Personalize your experience

Communicate about updates and promotions (if you have opted in)

Analyze usage to enhance our services

Offer targeted advertisements based on your preferences and usage

Enhance machine learning models with sensor data from the watch app

3. Targeted Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display ads within the App. AdMob respects your device's data tracking preferences set with Apple. If you limit ad tracking, AdMob will adjust accordingly. You can manage ad preferences in your account or device settings. You may opt-out of sharing your Advertising Identifier (IDFA), which means you will still see ads, but they won’t be personalized based on your activity or preferences.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze usage patterns and enhance your user experience within the App.

5. Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

Service providers assisting us with App operations

Advertisers and advertising networks to deliver relevant advertisements

Legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights

Analytics providers like Firebase Analytics to understand and improve our services with aggregated, anonymized data

We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee complete data security.

Direct Marketing: You may adjust ad preferences in device settings or use in-app options to disable personalized ads.

Analytics and Profiling: Opt-out of Firebase Analytics during onboarding or disable in-app settings. Note that some app features may be affected.

9. Data Retention

Sensor data is retained only as necessary to improve the "Rep Assistant" feature. Personal data is kept only as long as required to fulfill collection purposes and comply with legal obligations.

10. Children’s Privacy

GymBud Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; any such data discovered will be deleted.

11. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party sites or services not owned by GymBud Pro. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
